Hi guys! Here is a little example about what your coaches mean when they say stay connected and use your lower body to drive the ball. You can clearly see the difference between Thompson and Puig here. Thompson gets through the ball and drives it while Puig barely uses his lower body and he is just spinning in place. Thompson will generate more power by doing this.
